2tsp Butter | |
2 Dry red chillies | |
1 Cinnamon | |
3 Onions finely sliced | |
400gm White large mushrooms chopped | |
3inch piece Ginger peeled and cut into thin strips | |
3inch piece Ginger chop half the ginger finely and cut the remaining half in thin strips | |
2 Green chillies finely chopped (optional) | |
1tsp Garam masala | |
Salt to taste | |
Coriander leaves to garnish |
Directions
1.
Melt the butter in a large heavy-based pan over medium heat

Add the dried red chillies, and cinnamon

Add half of the ginger slices and fry for one minute

Add the sliced onions and fry on medium heat until they are golden brown. This will take approximately 4-5 minutes.

Add the mushrooms and stir-fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes or until the moisture has evaporated.

Add the remaining ginger slivers and salt and mix well

Finally add the garam masala at the end.

Making the crostinis
Take the baguette and slice them in small circles. You can also take slices of bread, toast them and cut them in triangles
Put a generous topping of the mushroom mix; garnish with coriander leaves.
